The concept of "reality" is an interesting discussion.
Especially if you consider the theories on how quantum mechanics and reality intersect. Scientists are testing the theory that consciousness affects reality. If enough people think the same, that can become reality from a scientific perspective. They have done some preliminary tests on this theory already.
Before you focus on "reality" from a logical perspective, you may want to consider that your view of how "reality" works may be wrong.
It's funny that you mentioned the quantum superposition problem, or the role of the observer in actualising reality, that's one idea I aim to explore... especially how it interplays with the readiness potential vs free will.
You're right, we can't be too sure about our views of reality, but we can compare the movie playing in our inner theatre to the shadows on the cave wall and question how compatible they are.
